Restless and drunk
I'm often awake 'till the dawn of the day
Sunrise and breakfast
Beautiful people having coffee and tea
Looking through windows
Houses with backyards
Dogs barking at me
Down in the station
The rush hour is starting
Time to get home
When I open my eyes
There are no colours to see
No deep waterfalls
No tall apple trees
People keep saying 'You're an upcoming star'
No lighthearted times if you don't know who you are
Hopeless and poor
Peals of laughter and shaking of heads
Smiling but anxious
It's not worth a top scorer leaving the game
They don't believe that the things that they see
Might be not as they seem
They can't believe that the doubts and the fears
Might be real
