Yung zachkary art - Temple lyrics

my body, her body, his body, it's our temple, our home without a roof. so why are us with a sh**load of tattoo's always looked at as "fools"? isn't our home supposed to be our temple? so if we aren't allowed to ink our skin what you're saying is, "our houses are only rentals". if our walls were never meant to be decorated, how come the day we buy a house we're always quick to paint it? but paint is ruining the true definition of your temple. if that was the case, every wall would remain the same with it's paint. every persons skin would be blank. and everyone would remain basic with what they think like what the f** is an "indigo" and lack the knowledge of knowing about any shade of pink. what makes getting tattoo's so different? all because I'd rather put art on my skin to die along with my permanent pictures? my skin is my temple, my temple is my everything. you always say, "embrace who you are" so getting tattoo's is almost like giving yourself a wedding ring. basically, I'm accepting myself inside of the skin that I was born with. and before I'm 21, tattoo's decorating my entire "temple" is what I'm going to get.
