Yizi_m - Experiment 4 lyrics

She stared at one of the drawings hanging on the wall for long. There is a girl, the only thing the few lines represent on the paper. The girl is in a midi dress, holding an umbrella with her left hand. She was not standing straight, though her head and her feet come to the same vertical line, if there were. Her waist is pointing to the right but still under the right edge of the umbrella. Her feet are pointing together in a sky-blue French toe style shoe. The part of leg that is not covered by her dress looks super thin, plus her winklepicker just like a needle toed to the ground. Around the point of the needle is her shadow, a few scratches of horizontal lines, different in lengths. Looking closer to the girl, you can tell that the dress is fill with, again, sky-blue, by color pencil, one stroke by another, with some white sparks on it. The upper as well as the bottom part of the dress almost come to a point at her waist. Her right hand is doing a shrugging posture, reaching out of where the umbrella covers, even though there is nothing besides her and the umbrella. Her head is almost an isosceles triangle with the only 25 degree angle pointing a little bit to the right. There is not nose, no mouth, ears mush be hiding her blond longhair. Her eyes are closing, only two curvy lines of lash, reaching out of her face. It was only one of the statures on the wall. All those drawings are girls: in different clothing, with different postures, showing different expressions. But none of them failed to convey the message of feeling coziness and show their grace. Lynn, is leaving. Setting off to another Los Angeles. A week before her departure, she invited some of her friends. She, Mae, was invited to her apartment for the farewell party. It was her first time for her to visit this apartment. Mae was so fascinated by the wall of girls vividly standing on the yellowish sketch paper. Literally, they are not friends yet. Because they just made their first acquaintance a few days ago, and they do not know much about each other yet. Mae just happened to know that Lynn is leaving and holding a farewell party. That might be the reason Lynn invited her. “Did you draw all these!” Looking up at her, asked Mae. Lynn did not answer, not even looked up, cooking a dish for the party. Mae did not take the silence seriously and continued to enjoy the drawings. Because she was just exclaiming and did not expected any answers. Mae was the first one got the apartment. Still exploring everything she can see, for that moment, all she saw are those drawings. It took a while for Mae to carefully appreciate all the girls. Raised up her head, she saw quite a few potted foliage plants. One, two, three … she counted. There were ten of them. Each one showed a different pattern.
