I am a bright seventeen-year old senior in high school and plan to graduate and further my education at a great university. The person that has had the most influence on me is definitely my mother. She has done so much for me and my sister throughout our lives so far and taken care of us. My mother has inspired me in many ways. My mother is very hardworking and always knows how to deal with tough situations. My mom did not attend college. She had a child to take care of at the age of seventeen, so she never got the opportunity to graduate and have a great career like she wanted. Even though she is good now, she knows that she could have done better by going to college and getting a degree in something she loves to do. That is why she always tells me it's important and i will have a better life if i do, and i strongly agree. I am striving to do well in school and get the best education possible not only for my mother but for myself and the type of life that I want to live. I want to have a good education so I can have everything I want and be able to give my children anything they want. To have a good education is very important to get where you want to be in the future. You have to work hard now and then you will be able to have fun later. If you do not have an education, the possibilities of you having the life you want are slim to none. That is why parents push their children to go to college and have good grades. College is an important decision you will make. If you go to college, you will have a higher probability of getting the job over a person who did not attend college. I want to have money of course, but i also would like to have a career that i enjoy waking up and loving what i do every day. I want my kids to have the best and be proud of what i have done and let them know that i went to college and have a career that i love.
