I wish as well, you'll understand What I'm trying to show you tonight You close the curtains in emptiness As the sun descends beyond our view You pause for a moment before turning around To return my dreamers shoes By the look in your eyes, I know we shared The same feelings, dreams, and awe And, somehow, I feel you know me better For all we felt and saw You understand how I feel my poetry And how I dream and fantasize For, my feelings dwelt within your heart And my sight lingered in your eyes We stand together in silent speech Not quite sure what's left to say Our feelings vivid like the sunset Creating a beautiful array
