Words are more powerful than you think That's why we should watch what we speak Imagine if there was no music? So why the negative message when we listen to it? Then we wonder why young girls act the way they do I'm not saying the problem is what they listen to But it does have an impact On the way they talk and the way they act I'm not saying my rhymes are heavenly I'm just trying to bring out a better me If you were taught to disrespect the ladies Then by all means do your thing I know I wasn't, and my life is cold That's why I need someone to love someone to hold You say girls aren't sh** and love is a no no b**h But is it a guy or girl you plan to grow old with? You can't change the way a man thinks But you can open his eyes for him to see Some people hear rap and right away they change it That's cause we as artist need to find a way to change it
