[Intro] Yeah yeah yeah It's the kid PC You know at first I was just gonna, you know spaz on this beat but, uh I got something I actually wanna say So uh, Imma do both Let's go Uh! [Verse] Is there truth in religion? Is there truth in religion? If the pulpit exudes only pure superstition And Jesus has no proof than it's bullsh** we living And the youth who the future imbue nothing different When in truth it behooves me and you just to give them All the j**els that we use to improve our existence Instead we get bamboozled by dudes inconsistent Do hypocrites count as being truly religious? Like my dad who's Hindu but who used to eat chicken Or my dude who's a Jew but who views television When on the Sabbath says the Talmud it's forbidden Or halal to a m**m or shellfish to a Christian I see you get the point but do you even the picture? See I believe in logic, evidence, and reason So I can't fit God within my rational convictions To me religion seems like an out-of-date description For what we humans use to make sense of our existence What happens after d**h? And what's the point of living? The existential dread is a**uaged by the scripture But you can have fulfillment without all of the fiction If you stand up and face the uncertainty of living Create your own meaning, make your own wisdom Happiness to me is helping others make a living Justice, Freedom, Peace, and Forgiveness I love all humans so I am humanistic But at the same time I understand the theists The way they were raised they're a part of being something big and If I grew up the same then I would view it no different And I've never had moment where I had me the vision But if we can stop using God as a reason To do what humans want then I'd probably be Christian And a Jew and a Hindu and a m**m ya feel this? Transcend your birth, become truly risen The Devil is a lie And so is religion
