New Jersey melodic hardcore mavens Nora came together in 1996 and soon released the k** You for a Dollar EP and a split disc with the Dillinger Escape Plan through independent Ferret Records. In 1999, they signed with fanzine turned record label Trustk** and issued another EP, called Neverendingyoulie, before completing their full-length debut, Loser's Intuition, two years later. Now featuring a lineup consisting of Carl Severson (vocals), Matt "Portland" Hay (guitar), Tim Cuccolo (ba**), and Chris Ross (drums), the band returned in 2003 with its Dreamers & Deadmen follow-up. ~ Ed Rivadavia, All Music Guide
