Nelson is Matthew and Gunnar Nelson, the twin sons of the '50s rocker and teen idol Rick Nelson. During the early '80s, the brothers joined a heavy metal band called Strange Agents. By the end of the decade, the group's name had changed to Nelson, as the twins were the only remaining members. With Matthew on ba** and Gunnar on guitar, the duo released their self-titled debut in 1990. Filled with polished, radio-friendly pop-metal, the album was a major hit in America, selling over a million copies and featuring the number one single "(Can't Live Without Your) Love and Affection." Nelson was silent for the next five years, releasing their second album, Because They Can, in the summer of 1995.
