NBA - LeBron's Attempt to Break the Cleveland Curse lyrics

LeBron and the Cleveland Cavaliers advanced the 2015 NBA Finals after completing their 4-0 sweep of the Atlanta Hawks. This is Cleveland's second trip to the NBA Finals, both times with LeBron at the helm. LeBron will look to break the Cleveland Championship "curse". It has been 52 years since the city of Cleveland has won a championship of any kind and numerous attempts at success have been stopped by the "Curse of Cleveland". “The Catch” "The Drive” "The Fumble” “The Series 1” “The Series 2” "The Shot” “The Sweep” “The Decision” All these memorable sport moments are memorable to Cleveland sports fans for all the wrong reasons, each combined to put together arguably the longest loosing streak in sports history. Sports fans all over Cleveland and Ohio are desperate for the championship that has alluded them for over 5 decades. LeBron has the chance to deliver the city its championship. After announcing his return to the Cavaliers he said the most important thing for him was to bring "one trophy back to Cleveland.” The Cavaliers look poised to make a good run at the NBA championship, granted, there are some minor speed bumps. Only the MVP Stephen Curry, All Defensive First Team member Draymond Green, All Defensive Second Team member Andrew Bogut and All NBA Third Team member Klay Thompson. Despite LeBron's recent tear through the Playoffs, he may not be enough to carry the Cavaliers to victory by himself. The Cavaliers will need some solid production from their other starters and bench players. Kyrie Irving will have the challenge of guarding Stephen Curry and will also need to drop in at least 15-20 PPG to push the Cavs over the line. If forward Tristan Thompson can keep up his play of late, the Cavs would be in an even better position to be crowned 2014-2015 champions. A solid production from role players like J.R. Smith and Matthew Dellavedova would most likely secure the Cavaliers their first NBA championship. The Warriors on the other hand have only one task, it just happens to be the hardest task in the world of basketball. Stop LeBron James. LeBron's size, speed and versatility along with 27.6 points, 10.4 rebounds, 8.3 a**ists, 1.8 steals and 1.3 blocks per game may prove too much for the Warriors. If the Warriors succeed in stopping LeBron, they are most likely walking away with a championship to top off their record setting season. If LeBron James can succeed in winning during his first season back with the Cavaliers he will dubbed a hero and most likely the most famous Cleveland Sportsman of all time. The one championship is all the city of Cleveland needs. 1 championship to forget the 50 years of loosing and to erase their memories of the “The Catch”, “The Sweep”, “The Shot”, but most importantly the dreaded Cleveland Curse.
