The epic hero Monomyth is still an important concept today because Star Wars and VGHS stories both showcase the Epic Hero Monomyth very well. First we are talking about Luck from Stars and then Brian D who we are comparing and we are seeing which playing their roles better. It provides a good role model for many people to pursue in today's society. Luck skywalker journey is a good example of the epic hero monomyth. In the beginning Luke lives with his uncle on the farm, but he doesn't like his regular life on the farm. Luke wanted a different life, but he doesn't even know what to do any more. He wanted to have an awesome life and he didn't know if he would ever happen to him. This story is important because it represents the status quo of this story today. Then something new happened to him and that is where his whole life changed for the better. He had his first mission, but he didn't know what to do if he should or not but at the end he decided to go and that's when all the fights started. Brian is also a good example of an epic hero monomyth. In the beginning he was a loser who would play video games all day and that was his life. His dream was to go to VGHS and attend that school. When he beats the law at home he gets in to VGHS and his enemy is the Law. Brian was so excited to go to VGHS. Brian said “no” I'm not going let him defeat me and he takes on the Law. At first Brian loses and he gets mad because he didn't follow his teammates and he k**ed jenny which was on his team. Brian didn't give up he was going to battle him again and this name Brian won he was happy. Brian goes back to his regular life and he stays in VGHS and he is happy to be where he belongs. He always had confidence that he was going to win and he did. The best role model between the two stories I would choice both of them because they are both wise. They both have the same life and they wanted to become a different person. Both stories share similar things. They fight and win their enemy and at the end they both get a reward. They are both epic hero's in their stories. Brian and luck are both brave and they both go back to their regular life and live their regular teenage dreams and they also achieved something they found out who they really were. To sum everything up, Star Wars and the VGHS both come to a similar stage. They were brave and not scared to do something different with their life. They both are monomyth which means one. They had many different and same similar topics in their story like they both defeated their worst enemy. Also how their life changed for the better not for the worst and they lived their dreams.
