Morgan_mm - Experiment 6- Morgan McCashland lyrics

Morgan McCashland She gazed at the clock as it blared that horrible, gawking sound. Her eyes adjusted out of her slumber and it read 4:30 a.m. The hours that no human should have to be presently awake. She had less than an hour to be into work and with the drive that took 20 minutes she had to get her lethargic limbs out of bed. To run a coffee shop one must brew coffee not only for themselves but also for the rest of the zombie goers at this hour. As she twisted the thick steel door handle the left, and jarred the key into the small keyhole she opened the door slightly than pushed her body weight to get the in the rest of the way. Note to self: fix the door before it will become impossible to get in. Everything for the morning rush was set into place, brew the fresh coffee, run the espresso machine, place the pastries out in an neatly ordered format, turn on the open sign and get ready for the waves of heavy-eyed strangers in need of their morning buzz to survive the day. Ah ha, the first order of the day, the early bird ready to conquer whatever laid ahead for the rest of the day. A carmelicisous espresso blender came through the headset and she went over the intricate steps in her head before she even began. Her arms reach toward the espresso handle that begins the entire drink process. This tool is cold to the touch because of the dense metal handle that holds a cup shaped end that holds the freshly shaved coffee beans. The strong caffeinated smell surrounds the station as the freshly, light espresso fills the pressing cup. As she holds the pressing handle in her left hand her right hand gets to work. First pushing down with the presser, which is a weighty, flatten hammer that condenses all the fine pieces of espresso. With a bit of elbow work she pushes more than 30 pounds of force onto the fresh espresso to turn in into a solid clump of ready to brew jolt of energy ready to awaken the customer. While paying close attention to the ding, click the cup is placed below to catch the warm pick me up. The bu*ton is pushed and the machines process beings. Scorching water is being pumped through the many paths in the machine, and the honey brown liquid beings to effortlessly drip into the coffee cup below. The process takes about 20 seconds, while this time is vital she goes and grabs a blender and two pumps of caramel hits the empty bottom while a splash of milk seems to melt around the thick sauce. She then places the now steamy darkened espresso into the blender and it melts into the softened sauce while it splashes and disappears into the milk. A cup full of misty ice clinks against the sides of the blender while getting stuck with in the contents below. She places the blender, makes sure its steady and set, then the contents are whirled into fast motion like a tornado picking up the earths materials as if its nothing. With in 15 seconds the blender has done its job and she pours the carmelicious blender into a plastic cup, and with a smile hands it off to the less than alert customer and begins on the next order.
