MikelWJ - Act One: Scene One lyrics

Narrator: The chapters not done, It's so far from through The fray has been fought, the wars just begun You're part of the yarn, and each word is true You'd think it was lost, but it's newly spun - In oceans of hate, find love once again Swim deep in the mind, fear all you behold Don't stay very long, this might be the end Since sadness won't die, with pieces untold - My job is to guide, shed light in the dark So follow my voice, and you'll understand You all may be cold, my flame lost it's spark Each word has a point, each sentence is planned - The crowd is all here, so light up the stage And tell them the tale, of reason and rage Cody Powers: So, did you finish up the homework you had for math? Michael Jones [Distracted slightly]: Nha, I was busy. I have a project Cody Powers: Working on either your English or German projects I hope Michael Jones: No, I was working on some writing for a personal project Cody Powers: What do you mean by a personal project? More lyrics? Why do you keep writing all this stuff if you never do anything with it? You need to try and focus more on school Michael Jones: Yeah, of course I mean more lyrics. And I try to focus, it's just a little hard to do anything when you can't stop thinking about other things Cody Powers: Really, Jones? Are you even pa**ing any of your cla**es right now? I know you hardly do any of your work, and you really have the potential to do better than this Michael Jones: I'm doing fine. Look, I need to go get to History. Lunch is over. I'll just see you later for Study Hall. Have a good one Cody Powers [Fading out]: Alright then, you too Robby: Michael! Wait a second for me! Hey man, are you ready for cla**? Michael Jones: I don't even know bro. Do you remember if we have a test today? Robby: I have absolutely no idea, just a lecture I think. So you can write whatever it is you write in your notebook when he talks. I can't believe he hasn't noticed it yet. What are you usually writing in there? Michael Jones: Just some lyrics to some songs. Scattered ideas. Nothing too special. Probably won't do anything with them, just leave them in the notebook Robby: Ahh, I see. Whatever works for you I guess. Anyway, lets get to cla**. I am really getting sick of this rain getting all my amazingly awesome hair wet Chris Van Sickle: “...His music softened the hearts of Hades, who agreed to allow Eurydice to return with him to earth on one condition: he would walk in front of her and he couldn't look back until they both had reached the upper world. He set off with Eurydice following, and, in his anxiety, as soon as he reached the upper world, he turned to look at her…”
