The Greek and Genesis Creation stories utilize the villain archetype. In the Greek, they had a villain named Cronus. It said "Cronus swallowed his children as they were born".This proves that Cronus is filling the role of the villain archetype. His lust for power is so great that he selfishly sacrifices his own children to keep the throne. In the Genesis theirs a similar character, the serpent"you wont die the moment you eat the fruit you'll know everything".The serpent is the evil and the villain and makes the women disobey god in his orders not to eat the fruit. He tricks women into eating the fruit and causing them to get kicked out the garden of Eden.In both stories they both have a similar character as a villain that causes the cross roads and changes history. The Greek and Genesis creation stories also contrast, with the former having an epic battle or father/son and the latter a garden archetype. In the greek story, the narrator says" Grea and Crouns set up a ambush attack on his father uran*s."Crouns fought his father,Cronus grabbed his father and castrated him, with the stone sickle, throwing the severed genitals into the ocean. This was a father/son ravery because there was conflict between father and his son over power. In Genesis story they had a garden archetype example"god took men to keep order in the garden"In the garden god made men and it kept men safe and happy like paradise and he had everything.Life was starting and god was still being created but men was keeping order until god made women then he was happy and excited. In the greek there was mostly conflict between each other and always had a change in the story with Crouns and his father and in the garden god made men and made it a good place for men and making life changing decisions for men .
