9-16 I'm continuing reading "Forged By Fire". In chapter 6, Gerald is already a teenager. He starts to see the world in a different way and he knows as well that the situation in his house is not good at all. Gerald's step dad beats his mother up almost everyday. Furthermore, He finds out that Jordan (his step dad) also s**ually abuses his little sister. Gerald tries to protect his sister even if that includes getting beated up by his criminal step dad. Eventually, Gerald decides to tell a responsible friend adult it. 9-17 In Chapter three of the book "My Double Life", Alexia went through a huge turn off. She had asked the guy she liked named Trevor to go to the homecoming dance with her and at first he agreed. Two days later, Alexia found him kissing Theresa - Alexia's worse rival since kindergarten. Alexia was numb; but then she asked Trevor about the dance. However; Theresa answered that Trevor was going to the dance with her. Alexia told Trevor that he didn't have manners in a sarcastic way. She cried on her way home from school. 9-18 As Alexia was waiting for her ride home from school, She saw a fancy limousine approaching to her. She was stunned when she saw a very elegant and good looking woman with lots of make up on. She smiled at her and told her she was Kary Kingsley's -the celebrity- manager. Alexia got scared and she said she could not talk wiht strangers but then they rolled the window of the limo down and there was Kary Kingsley sitting in the back seat. She looked at Alexia with an arrogant look and told her how dare she make her spend many hours in a plane to come see her and she doesn't wanna listen to her. 9-19 Finally, Alexia got in the car. Kari Kingsley started to look at her deeply. Checking out every part of the girl. "You even look more like me than i do!!!" -She said. Her cheek bones, her nose, her eyes and even her chin was very similar to the artist's. The only difference was that Alexia had brown hair and Kari had dyed blonde hair. However; She confessed her natural hair color was brunette too. 9-20 The celebrity Kary Kingsley takes Alexia to the best hotel in the area. Which is the hotel where her mom works as a housekeeper. Alexia's mom wouldn't allow her to even talk to Kary Kingsley because according to her, celebrities are selfish and greedy. Alexia didn't know what to do. She was pretty sure that there was no possible way her mom wouldn't find out about this, since even the other housekeepers knew her.
