When I was about several weeks old my mom became pregnant again. When I was about 2 months old and my mom was about a month or two pregnant, we moved from Dublin, Ireland to Palmetto, Georgia, where my grandmother and her youngest son, who was about 15 years old at the time, along with my grandfather use to live. A few months had pa**ed and my mom was now at least 5 months pregnant, when one night me and my little sibling's, that has yet to be born, biological father showed up. He was screaming and yelling at her "I told you i would find you!! There is no way if i can't have you, then no one can!!" and with that he threw and started hitting her. I started screaming and crying, as well as my mom did. When he heard me crying and screaming, he looks at me and starts slowly walking to me. My mother managed to croak out " leave her alone, she's just a baby" then he turn towards her and then threw her down the stairs. With that my mom started bleeding of where her the baby is. My grandmother and uncle heard the commotion and they saw my biological father hitting on my mother and see me crying and screaming and with that my uncle jumped on his back and try to pull him down, while my grandmother was carrying me and calling the ambulance and cops. My grandfather was at work at the time. The ambulance and finally arrived, they took us to the hospital and him to prison. We all sat there in the waiting room which felt like hours, my grandmother feeding me and whispering in my ear "it's gonna be okay, everything is alright". After several more minutes the doctor comes and gives us permission to finally see my mother. When we walked into her room, she was crying and i was so confused. Then i hear my mother cry "i lost it. I lost it!!". I can relive that day everyday and it makes me cry every time.
