Dallas-based alternative CCM band Seventh Day Slumber was led by frontman Joseph Rojas, a former c**aine addict who turned to religion in the wake of a near-fatal overdose. Teaming with guitarist Evan Weatherford, ba**ist Joshua Schwartz and drummer Adam Witte, he formed Seventh Day Slumber in 1996, and upon signing to the Afinia label the group issued Matthew Twenty-Five three years later. ~ Jason Ankeny, All Music Guide
