Scarecrow Beats - Sun Don't Last lyrics

[Verse 1: Lacey Jackson] What am in for? To inform of course To enforce and endorse the love before divorce A life before remorse, a price that got paid I want to say his name, but then they'll call it lame so I digress so progress is eminent, a world without a mirror the first step beginning with I Lacey N Jackson, in the caption legitimate Lyrics so children of defendants won't be visitin' prison and thinking my sentiment wasn't intimate Yal' talk the end of it instead of preventing it, let me slow it down I guess things change, It's funny how someone else success brings pain Crazy cuz' that lyric defines that black spirit, you never see a change where everybody can gain I write down every bar and try to forget the fame so if I would ever make it my n***as would do the same [Hook: Lacey Jackson] If the sun don't last forever, just remember that the day won't That's from a n***a in the same boat running from the same problems, my heart is racing cuz' I can't solve em' We give up, we overdose If the sun don't last forever, just remember that the rain won't That's from a n***a in the same boat running from the same problem my heart is racing cuz' I can't solve em We give up, we overdose like [Verse:2 Lacey Jackson] Listen my parents never knew me til I swallowed pills, don't regret my past you see that pain be in the bottle still Looking at my face you see a smile but that ain't how I feel Hoping that my hope isn't a hoe, isn't a dollar bill You see I had to watch my mother pa** off, father work his a** of, sister having a baby, baby daddy rip her cash off Had me looking at my life like it was poverty, turn on the news compared to some I hit the lottery Now I ain't tryna' say that n***as don't have it hard, but what I'm tryna' say is n***as done had it harder The president is black so n***as done made it far, but what I'm tryna' say is n***as can make it farther Put my life into this music and hope that the thugs hear it, You got a lot of drive let me teach you how to steer it Success is just choice you either love it or you feat it, never sweat about the problems they'll be coming as you near it Just remember [Hook: Lacey Jackson] If the sun don't last forever, just remember that the day won't That's from a n***a in the same boat running from the same problems, my heart is racing cuz' I can't solve em' We give up, we overdose If the sun don't last forever, just remember that the rain won't That's from a n***a in the same boat running from the same problem my heart is racing cuz' I can't solve em We give up, we overdose like [Verse:3 Lacey Jackson] You used to say no, like I don't no I Spanish backwards stare me down in church I no what you was planning after Ass whoopins' was my mothers way of showing love, so I hated her and hated what was up above Mama look she pretty told me looking was a sin Wait until your married, just like God and virgin Marry It all seem unnecessary matter fact God seemed very scary Rest in Peace to Rob McCreary next to him is where you buried Wait, beefing at the line, the ballers know I'm shooting free throws walked into the gym my autie was rocking a pea coat Coach start crying you can tell he ain't want me to see tho, left practice early got the crib and seen all the people Pops came, sis came, brother can't control the pain Grandfather took my hand and asked me to be strong, out of respect I never say it in this song Yea she gone, but by now I know she never taught me wrong When she taught me [Hook: Lacey Jackson] If the sun don't last forever, just remember that the day won't That's from a n***a in the same boat running from the same problems, my heart is racing cuz' I can't solve em' We give up, we overdose If the sun don't last forever, just remember that the rain won't That's from a n***a in the same boat running from the same problem my heart is racing cuz' I can't solve em We give up, we overdose like [Verse:3 Lacey Jackson] So what happened was I got in this situation where i felt like you know my back was against the wall And as I was sitting there I was just thinking like before I was alive I felt no pain like there was no pain in my life before I was living And at that moment all I really cared about was getting back to that You know I was the kind of kid that used to admire the lame kids at school I was so concerned with my flaws and insecurities and the evil side of people that I could't really understand how these kids were smiling Like everything that I was working toward getting in life, everything i had that i considered valuable You know they had none of it But they always had the biggest smile on their face I can remember being liken 11 and 12 years old just wanting peace And after going through the whole overdose situation I just, I began to reflect back on those years and wonder why I didn't have the help that I needed You know I just wanted to figure out what the problem is and something to do about it So I'm standing here today handing you the solution I feel like our generation needs And it's just information and perspective you know The reaction I get from people hearing my music confirms that my situation happened for a reason When they pumped my stomach they didn't just get rid of the pills they got rid of a lot of misconceptions you know My last Facebook Status before i took the pills was going to see mom And even though I love and miss my mom a lot I can't tell you how much of a blessing it is to still be here doing something that I love you know I'm really happy
