Profound Youth - Water lyrics

I feel like I'm sinking, submerged with mistrust. Misguided, bewildered, lost within my own beliefs. The waves of reality, crashing over my head. My knees weak, my arms quivering, my eyes shut. Slowly rolling as the swift tide begins to masquerade my face. My eyes still shut, my lungs losing capacity. Air bubbles soon began to dissipate from my mouth. My eyes still shut, my lungs despoiled. Stripped of dignity, pride, self-satisfaction, etc. My eyes crack open, vision burry, vision vanishing. I struggle to see people, watching as I deluge. No hands were held, no help was present. Arms unresponsive, legs paralyzed, thoughts cloudy. Everyone swam on, as the last air bubble found the surface. Eyes clenched, thoughts obfuscated. Body dispa**ionate, mentality obscured. Then I was pulled out from the immersed water. Carried away, never looking back. I gaze up, vision is resurrecting. I close my eyes, never looking back. The days pa**, the wind blows, the trees rustle. There are days when I swim. There are days when I sink. But the same person keeps elevating me. And getting me on my feet again.
