Ofcourse, the notion of love has been diluted and oversimplified by our care free use of the word. But aside from my subject, for what I wish to express the attitude of agape;unconditional love. It ought to be self-evident in this world that every person must devote a reasonable share of time and effort to fulfilling their duty in the Romantic life and in their relationships. No one should shirk their romantic duties under whatever plea of pleasure or business; and while such shunning may be pardoned in lust-filled eyes it is entirely unpardonable in those among whom it is most common–in the people whose circumstances give them reciprocity in the struggle of love. In so far as the people grow individually and as a couple to think rightly, they should likewise grow to regard lust, greed, lack of respect and affection of means that prohibit harmony. A great many of people are bent on enjoying romantic life fully (as they have a perfect right to do if only they do not sacrifice other things to enjoyment), rather plume themselves upon being respectful and compa**ionate lovers, if they even engage and commit; yet committing is the very least of their duties. Nothing worth gaining is ever gained without effort. You can no more have unconditional love without striving and suffering for it. The people who say that they have not time to love unconditionally are simply saying that they are unfit to live in romantic reciprocity.
