We are talking about two stories that have the same archetypes like they both have villain archetypes. Also we will be taking these two stories and comparing and contrasting the stories .Genesis and the Greek are two similar stories and different in how they use literary archetypes. Villain archetypes for both stories share. Both the Greek and the Genesis creation stories utilized the villain archetype. Cronus swallowed each of his children as they were born (Greek myth). This proves that Cronus is filling the role of a villain. His lust for power is so great that his selfishly sacrifices his own children to take the thrown. When the serpent was telling the women to eat the apple so she can betray god order the serpent trick her to eating it. The serpent is the villain in this story because the serpent tricks the women into eating the apple. When she ate the apple she was not doing what god told her to do. So these are examples of villain archetypes. They have many differences between the Greek and the genesis creation stories, with the former having an epic battle or father/son and the latter a garden. In the Greek creation story they had a father /son archetype. When Cronus grabbed his father and castrated him, with the stone sickle, throwing the severed genitals into the ocean. When his son did not want to give his food to god and he was forced give up his food. Many stories have garden archetype, but not like the genesis creation stories when they lived in the garden of eve.
