Thursday 9/26: out breakage of drug shortages the outbreak calls attention to the growing problem of drug shortages. from 2005 to 2011, the number of shortages rose drastically in the united states. methylpredndnisolone has caused the meningitis outbreak, but it came in short supply.a federal law signed by Barack Obama requires drug companies to contact FDA six months in advance of anticipated problems.
