Malcolm Jamaal Davis[4][5] (born April 12, 1992), better known by his stage name Madeintyo (stands for Made In Tokyo, stylized as MadeinTYO), is an American hip hop recording artist from Atlanta, Georgia.[6] He is best known for his debut breakout single "Uber Everywhere" with Travis Scott on the official remix. Early life and career[edit] Malcolm Jamaal Davis was born on April 12, 1992 in Honolulu . Madeintyo grew up as an Military brat, moving around and living in areas such as California, Virginia, Texas and Tokyo for 5 years, hence his stage name Madeintyo, which he got the name from his teenage years living in Tokyo (Yokosuka , japan), the longest he had stayed there before returning back to Atlanta.[7] He lived there with his older brother, rapper Royce Rizzy. He was inspired by his cousin won to start rapping, who was recording songs in his bedroom when they were young. [8] Madeintyo started taking his career seriously, and released his debut breakout single titled "Uber Everywhere" on February 26, 2016 by Privateclub Records, with distribution backed by Warner Bros. Records.
