Statement: As a Realtor and small business owner, I know how important it is that state government creates opportunity and prosperity for all. As a long time community volunteer, I have a proven track record of working with people of all backgrounds to create positive change here in Washington. In my profession, I have observed more and more people finding it difficult to access the American Dream whether it is saving for college, achieving homeownership, or starting a small business. I am running for Lieutenant Governor to help my fellow Washingtonians achieve these goals. I want to bring a modern approach in new thinking to our state government that will lead to more investment in high quality public education, reduce taxes on small businesses, and cut unnecessary regulations that impact job growth. I want homeownership to be available for everyone. As a woman who has overcome professional obstacles, I am committed to eliminating the wage gap between men and women in our state. I am 100% pro-choice. As Lieutenant Governor, I will work with legislators on both parties to build bipartisan support around positioning Washington State to become a leading example of business prosperity and high quality education nationally.
