1111/5 As thousands of consumers receive health insurance cancellation notices, President Obama is continuing to fine tune his promise that Americans who like their health plans would be able to keep them under his signature health care law. The president told about 200 of his campaign supporters and health care activists Monday that the administration had promised Americans they could keep their current coverage -- as long as their plans had not changed since ObamaCare was signed into law. "If you have or had one of these plans before the Affordable Care Act came into law and you really liked that plan, what we said was you could keep it if it hasn't changed since the law's pa**ed," Obama said. "So we wrote into the Affordable Care Act you are grandfathered in on that plan. But if the insurance company changes it, then what we're saying is they have got to change it to a higher standard. They've got to make it better." 11/6 There was little drama in the four key races we were watching Tuesday night. But the off-year elections were viewed as much for what they would say about next year's midterm elections and the next presidential contest in three years. 11/7 Paul Ciancia opened fire in a Los Angles Airport and a security administrator died and injured many more. Paul was 23 years of age and was shot by a LAX officer and is now in critical condition 11/8 September 22, 2013 Hurricane Ingrid, coming from the Pacific, and Tropical Storm Manuel, coming from the Gulf of Mexico, hit Mexico at the same time. The two storms cause flooding in several towns and cities. Major highways are cut off. Heavy rains cause deadly landslides. More than 120 people are k**ed. Thousands are left homeless. There are lots of people that had to relocate permanently because of the ma**ive flooding that took place. It wasn't expected to happen at the same time but there was complete devastation in Mexico.
