Jonathan Rogers - Julius Caesar Essay lyrics

Julius Caesar was Easily one of the greatest military leaders there was. Which meant he had a lot of power. which made one of his best friends to k** him in cold blood for the love of his country. Julius Caesar was a great military leader with the mindset of nothing but outsmarting his opponent. He lead Rome's Military and guided them to victory through even their toughest enemies, but Rome's enemies or combat wouldn't be the reason for his tragic d**h. The jealousy of one of his most trusted companions, Brutus, as well as other Roman accomplices were the cause of this once great military leaders downfall.(Doc A) Caesar gain the trust and highest levels of respect from all of Rome and its leaders and was gaining a greater and greater importance and power. For him this was all dude to his success and hard work protecting Rome, but Brutus saw that with the rising power his leader is gaining he will begin to abuse it and take complete control and become relentless.(Doc C) Brutus then stared devising a plan to k** Caesar but with such treason he would have to find trustworthy people help him and back him up with such a dangerous task. He started looking for people, scouting, and having conversations with people and two people he talked and plotted with were Ca**ius and Antony. These people got together with other conspirators and made a plan to k** Caesar. After k**ing Caesar, Brutus had to face all of Rome trying to explain why he committed such treason.(Doc A&B) he claimed to be doing this out of the love fir his country and the people of Rome but the same thing he though was going to eventually cripple it was saving and keeping his beloved country. Once other enemy nations found out Caesar was dead they quickly saw the opportunity to take Rome and that they did. Romes army could no longer out think the other nations and quickly fell under the great number of enemies with no command or order the Roman army did what they could but it wasn't enough and Rome was never the same great untouchable nation any longer. The Irony of what Brutus did was that the very thing he was trying to keep alive, his beloved country, he was ultimately the one to let cause it downfall. By k**ing Julius Caesar and taking away his great strategic mind there was no possible way for the small Roman army to stand up to larger numbers of troops. Brutus was then k**ed and left absolutely no one in charge of Rome.
