2. The worst job I have had would have to be working at a specific daycare in Lincoln. I love children and enjoyed my past experiences at different daycare centers but there was something about this one. I don't know if it was poorly managed or very unorganized, but nothing ever seemed to go smoothly. They never had enough staff to cover the amount of children that were present and people would just not show up leaving more work for the rest of us. The boss was very unprofessional and always had an attitude no matter the situation. I had told her before I ever started working that I needed a flexible schedule and that I could only work after 2 PM. She walked up to me in front of everyone and said very snottily, “ Oh did you sleep past your alarm?!” when I arrived to my 2 o'clock shift. It seemed very unprofessional to me considering I had previously told her multiple times that I could not start until 2. She also told the staff that we could not take a day off if someone else had taken it off. I told her this would not work for me considering I am a college student and many of my tests are at night. She consistently made me feel bad for asking to leave early or telling her that I couldn't come in for the day due to a test or school related work. I then decided that this was not the right job for me and I needed to put my two weeks in. 3. When I walked outside, the first thing I saw that I didn't expect to see was a hot air balloon floating in the air over the trees near the lake. It was very colorful, blue, red, yellow, green, and purple. It looks so big floating over my house but when it reaches its peak it looks so minuscule. Now that it is nice out, I hope to see the hot air balloons out and about more often. They are so beautiful and fill the sky with something to look at. A hot air balloon festival would be quite magical to see! It is so interesting to me that people can be up that high in the sky and not be afraid. I'm not sure if I could ride a hot air balloon but it is definitely on my to-do bucket list.
