Marking as spam Spam is used only for spam. If you are ever unsure, don't mark as spam. Hit a Staff Member up and they'll help you out! Here's some advice on marking as spam: • What does marking a user as spam do? • What does marking a comment as spam do? • What do you do with spammy song pages? Sometimes it's hard to determine whether something is spam or not. DON'T mark these things as spam: • Annoying users/trolls • p**n spammers • Users that have any non-spam stuff DO mark these things as spam: • Love guru stuff • Illuminati stuff • Ad-like pages • Random letter typing (sdkfjwoefnoia) • Online dating stuff • Fake certificates Deleting song pages When you find a duplicate, don't delete it right away! Make sure you first: • Figure out the "better" page • Merge annotations to it • Message people to let them know • Delete OR hide Making postlets Each tag has its own set of postlets! To create one: • Click "New Postlet" • Click "Next" • Add the title of the post • Add the content of the post • Keep the postlets clean Moderating difficult situations In any situation, there's two ways to experience them: you literally witness the act or you hear about it from a third party.
