Doutzen Kroes, model and Dance4life amba**ador, launched the G-Star Women selected by Vogue supporting dance4life collection and officially opened the first G-Star Women store worldwide. During the event RAW Magazine caught up with the international model. RAW Magazine: How is it to be a part of this collaboration? Doutzen Kroes: I am very excited to be able to work on the collaboration with G-Star, dance4life and Dutch Vogue. It is very important to me that brands like this are willing to work together on efforts like this, where we are trying to create a world without HIV and AIDS. Also, I am very proud of the beautiful collection. RM: What are your favourite pieces? DK: It's very difficult to pick a favourite since I think all 7 items are beautiful. I really like the outfit I'm wearing tonight: The pleated skirt, since it's very feminine and modern at the same time. And the leather jacket! If I'd have to pick one favourite item it's definitely the leather jacket. RM: And soon you'll be seeing women wearing the collection, how does that make you feel? DK: It'll be very special seeing people wear the collection, because it means they are willing to support dance4life and decided to contribute to a world without HIV and AIDS. So I'll definitely think of it every time I see somebody wearing the collection and thank them for helping dance4life. RM: How is it to open the first G-Star Women store? DK: Well we've been here for a while preparing tonight's event, so I had the time to take a good look around. I think the store looks amazing, very beautiful and feminine, but on the other hand a bit tough. It's very much something for girls today. Also I really like the collection, I've seen some nice shoes and of course the G-Star denims. RM: So it sounds like you wear G-Star. DK: Yes, I wear G-Star a lot, so I'm also very excited the New York store is located just around the corner of my apartment.
