people have always been oppressing the s**ual minorities. the thing i don't get is how can two loving persons hurt anyone. maybe it's because of something differing from our precious, accepted norms. this is a question of human rights as long as people can't show their love without getting beaten up or insulated there's no point talking about equality! love is a beautiful thing, in it's any form whether it's between boys or between girls. it's not a sickness that one should get rid off it's you who's sick for having such a narrow mind.
