Grace is given to the ones who don't deserve it Not to the ones who act perfect If it was It wouldn't be grace And if you could see it It wouldn't be faith And my mistakes Add to my mistakes It makes me appreciate this breathe Thats why I write with a pencil and not a pen Cause I erase more than I use the lead To some thats pessimism Others its perfection Cause the definition is to embrace the imperfections And Im improvising My life and my goals Cause if I look to far forward I lose sight of my road And its already paved I just need to walk it The lights stuck on green but it feels like I'm stopping A few more obstacles I just need to cross em Can't do it alone though I need someone to walk with Someone to takeaway my steps in the sand Or someone to see through the regrets from the past But its already enough If you just show up I know this to be true Being alones tough Thats why I look to him Cause the love just won't budge It can't Its too perfect And believing in that Is what I need to work with Cause its hard to believe that theres something better Its hard to believe that you're not judging effort That there isn't a scorecard, a report card, or a laundry list Theres just your support for me No matter how hard it gets And Im grateful for that So I write this sh** down and send it to the people that listen Cause knowledge of this sh** Is the deepest of wisdom Welcome..
