Italian singer Cristina Dona got involved in Milan's rock scene in the early '90s. In 1995, Dona became one of the finalist at a local contest called Liampi di Livorno. Soon, helped by singer/guitarist Manuel Agnelli, Cristina Dona was signed up by local label Mescal, debuting in 1997 with Tregua, voted Best Debut Album of the Year.
