Constructus Corporation - Ambrosial Hours lyrics

Randomboy went downstairs to say goodbye to his mom. He'd been waiting for today for a very long time. He was going to hook up with his best friend, Kidtronic, and head through to the big emceeing competition at the arcade. “Mom,” said Randomboy to his mother, who was busy interacting with her favorite soap opera. Today she was Ziza(?) in an episode entitled “Ambrosial Hours.” Ziza smiled up to the little bird, saying hello to her. Its voiced harmonized nicely with the cuddly song her bed was singing. She made her way up the steps to her flat. The sun was on it's way. It was slightly awkward unlocking her door with crossed fingers, but she went through with it nonetheless. That cozy feeling in her stomach came to visit as she stepped inside. Her favorite smell was home. Ziza switched on the lamp next to the couch he was sleeping on, then crouched down and kissed him ever so gently on the cheek. Her visitor smiled at her through his puffy eyes, as she walked into the kitchen. He sat up and touched himself in the leg a few times to try to make it wake up, then got up and went after her. She was busy making him coffee when he came through. He sat down at the kitchen table and looked up at her. She looked a bit more tired then usual, but he decided it might sound a bit rude to mention that. “How was your shift?” “Fine,” she answered, sitting down with a cigarette. “Nothing hectic. Why are you so smiley?” “I want to show you something,” he said brightly, removing a small box from the breast pocket of his blazer. “Ah, it's gorgeous,” whispered Ziza. “You can even open it,” he went on, in his usual, playful tone. Ziza opened the box gently, and a beautiful little chain came trickling out. … The goldfish on top of the refrigerator looked up at the budgie in the far corner of the room. The budgie returned the look affectionately. “Haah,” Ziza sighed deeply to herself, and looked down at her coffee. “I can see inside you,” she said finally looking up. He looked at her suspiciously, then figured she must have meant that metaphorically. “I just…what are you trying to say here?” he enquired. “I guess what I'm saying is, you best go do your thing, superhero.” They finished their coffee quietly. Seven o'clock arrived a little too early, as usual. She walked him to the door. “You'd better wipe the lipstick off your cheek…” “Mom!” said Randomboy, again. “Oh! Sorry dear,” replied his mother. “I was just...um...I'm just going to the arcade with Kidtronic. I'll see you later.” “Alright dear, have a good day.” “Peace” “Peace”
