When laughing all about it It doesn't seem funny anymore A school can be a door of sorts But not the one I need Alone in wonderment Puzzled dazed without a hand But still the door has not been opened What does it take Must I be Eli Lilly All Lilly in my hue Or must I be a Thomas white All dark but not within I know what I must do I must accumulate absorb and learn For these cannot be taken And once ive on my own attained That paper triviality I will have my door opened By someone else Not me
