Beverly Joyce Peckinpaugh - The Edge of Nothingness lyrics

Traveling down a road. An endless ribbon of black lined in yellow. Sometimes broken. Sometimes continuous. Travel a mile or two but the road is closed. An avalanche of snow leaves me alone and cold and on another detour. Smooth traveling for a while but weather changes. Makes the road bumpy and rough filled with potholes. Waiting to swallow me in. Traveling onward landslide of mud and muck. Stops me in my tracks. Leaving me traveling down yet another detour. Coming to the end of the road. Standing on the edge of nothingness. Wanting to jump but scared of the darkness.
