Spanish metal band Baron Rojo was formed in 1981 by sibling singers/guitarists Armando and Carlos De Castro in tandem with ba**ist Jose Luis Campuzano and drummer Hermes Calabria. Signing to the Chapa label, the group issued its debut album Larga Vida al Rock, releasing a new album annually prior to disbanding in 1988. Four years later, the De Castro brothers reformed Baron Rojo with new ba**ist Angel Arias and drummer Jose Martos, releasing Desafio on Avispa; Arma Secreta followed on Clave five years later. ~ Jason Ankeny, All Music Guide
