I read an article from yahoo. It was about a tropical storm that hit Mexico, apparently the second one. The federal authorities said that this hurricane/storm caused about 21 d**hs. They say that people had to postpone their celebrations from Sunday-Monday for Independence day.

I read an exert from the book Safe Haven. It was about a girl named Katie who began a new life in a small town of North Carolina. But suddenly questions of her past seem to follow her everywhere. She tried not to get close to anybody but she met the widowed store owner and became really attached to him and his family. As she fell in love with Alex, the store owner, her past began to haunt her. She also met her single neighbor, Jo, and became pretty good friends with her too.

I read an article from the Magazine The Wireless Issue. It was about the phone that knows all. It was written by Ma**imo Calabresi. He was saying that now a days cell phones know everything like where you are & what you're doing because of texting, tweeting, shopping, taking pictures, and navigating through a smart phone. Federal officials solved the robbery of a Berlin, Conn., branch of Webster Bank using the companies: AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, & T-Mobile in 2009. Now the worry is government snooping & free and cheap apps capable of collecting data.

I read the first chapter of the book "Into The Wild" by Jon Krakauer. It was about Jim Gallien, he had seen a hitchhiker standing on snow beside the road. He seemed nice and friendly so Jim told him to hop on & that he'll take him anywhere. They talked a while & then Jim seemed concerned about the guy. He considered the idea that he was a crackpot, but it turns out that he only had 10 lbs of rice in his back pack for food. Maybe that's why he was a little "lost." The first chapter was okay, it didn't really catch my attention but I'm pretty sure it's a good book.

The book i was reading didn't really interest me. Which is why I didn't get so far into it. It was mostly about the economy, not fully, but at least the beginning was & about how money was created, why it is created, who created it, how it's made, how it's organized/structured, and many more other things. It's not that I dislike history because it can be really fun & interesting at times, but this type wasn't really my cup of tea. I think i'll go more into Mystery, Suspense, Comedy & etc. for the next time.
