The two creation from the Genesis and Greek Myths had made a big impact on how we think about how life was created, in terms of Earth. A similarity between them are, when they had created Earth, it all started out to be dark, empty, and nothing was there. Until God had made light and living things become alive. This would be an example of a hero archetype, because whoever created/saved Earth and the Heavens, is considered as the good guy.
A difference between the two creation, is that Greek Myth had an epic battle while the Genesis did not. Also, for Greek myth, Zeus who had a father/son rivalry between Cronus and the Titans were fighting to save his siblings. As well for rivalry, the Genesis had a villain which was between the serpent and Eve. When Eve wasn't suppose to eat from the "Tree of Life," Eve was tricked into eating the apple, even though she knew it was wrong. This is called the crossroad archetype; When an innocent person becomes someone entirely new (or change of personality).
The two stories all have different archetypes into making the plot of the story telling.
