I hear you but I will not hide;
The age that we're living through,
Where love of the truth
Depends on a lie...
Why this unberable search
For the one true believer?
We speak in different tongues,
But we are all one
Under the sun.
All an illusion
The stars have wandered far tonight.
The cosmos sits in its scale,
Like Isis unveiled
To the all-seeing eye.
They would not look any farther
Than this, unbelievers,
Afraid of what they would find:
A dangerous mind,
A light in the dark.
Where is their truth now?
They say that I don't know my place!
I've been here all of my life,
Daughter and wife,
Teacher and sage.
Pages are still to be filled
With the words and the numbers.
For such a woman as I,
The wise dead don't die.
My place is here:
Fear's an illusion.
