You heard about Beyoncé? You heard what Beyoncé...Beyoncé, let me give you a little history on Beyoncé. Beyoncé used to be the lead for, it was a three-girl group called Destiny's Child. And their songs were attempts to inspire young women not to take any grief from men. Is that right, Mr. Snerdly? Essentially, don't take any grief. Don't let these guys walk all over you, don't do this, don't do that. Just walk away -- you don't need to put up with that.
She's done a 180. Beyoncé, now having been married, having been impregnated and given birth to Blue Ivy, she's going out on a new tour, and they may as well call it the "Bow Down B-I-itch" tour. She's got a new song -- can I say it? It's in the popular... -- "Bow Down, b**hes" is the new tune. A total 180. Beyoncé's now saying, go ahead and put up with it.
And you know why? I'll tell you why. Because she got married, she's married to a rich guy. She's even calling herself "Mrs. Carter" on the tour. Dawn? Dawn, look at me. She has shelved Beyoncé. She's no longer being called...she's gonna call herself "Mrs. Carter" on the "Bow Down, b**hes" tour. And that song, that's the title of the single that's fronting the tour. And the advice is to these women, go ahead and put up with it. Put up with it now. Bow down, B-I-itches.
Because why? She got married. She married a rich guy. She now understands. She now understands it's worth it to bow down. And so now, she's pa**ing on this advice. And there's a big story about this in the UK Telegraph. A MAJOR story about this in the UK...Not Obama's trip to Israel. A major story about Beyoncé's tour and what it's called and she's "Mrs. Carter" and how she's now advising women to put up with whatever. You find the right guy, you put up with it. Bow down.
And the story in the UK Telegraph is written by an angry woman who feels betrayed by Beyoncé. This woman not gon' bow down. The woman who wrote this piece is not...Let's see if I've got...I've got so many stacks of stuff, you can't...If I get everything in this program, this is gonna be one for the ages. If I find...I've got fifteen stacks here. I don't know where I put it. Right here -- ah! Here it is! "Bow Down, b**hes." Felicity Capen, or Cah-pone. C-A-P-O-N.
"Beyoncé's new single marks a change in direction for the 'independent woman' the U.S. President hand-picks to play at his party." And Felicity Capon explains why the lyrics leave a bitter taste. It's a HUGE story. The thing that's gonna shake this country up is gonna be Obama on an open mic dissing Timberlake's latest CD or his latest fashion line, or maybe saying something negative about Beyoncé.
