Transition from JT's door being ripped open to a door in the hospital opening with Dakota walking through it.
Dakota:
You called for me?
Bill:
I need for you to see this.
Paramedic uncovers a dead body, showing Dakota that it's Tammy. Dakota is visibly upset, covering her mouth in shock.
Paramedic:
Looks like a no-brainer.
Bill:
What does that mean?
Paramedic: (turns over Tammy's head)
No brain. Scooped clean out of her skull.
Dr. Felix:
Oh, oh, oh, I know what this… Don't tell me. Uh… Liquefactive necrosis.
Dakota still covering her mouth walks away from the group. Bill looks up angrily, looks in Tammy's pocket and pulls out her phone.
Paramedic:
You think?
Dr. Felix:
Oh, sure, yeah.
Bill:
Thank you, that'll be all.
Cut to Dakota in a supply room teary eyed, still having her hand over her mouth. Bill walks in.and consoles her.
Bill:
Did you know she was back in town?
Dakota: (shakes her head)
No. I didn't. What happened to her?
Bill: (removing his gla**es)
I don't know baby.
I thought you stopped seeing each other.
Dakota:
We have.
Bill:
Well, hes, you have now--she's f**ing dead.
Dakota:
I mean, we--we stopped before. I--I haven't talked to her in a while.
Bill is now tightening his grip on the back of Dakota's neck as she's teary eyed and trying to convince him.
Bill:
But you've written each other.
Dakota:
Here and there. But not--
Bill reaches into her lab coat pocket to remove her cell phone, Dakota backs away quickly.
Dakota:
What are you doing?!
Bill:
Let me see your last three messages.
Dakota:
You have no right.
Bill:
I don't? I don't have a right?
Dakota is clutching her phone with both hands as Bill casually begins removing her three syringes in her lab coat. He is opening the caps with his mouth and spitting them at her as he speaks.
Bill:
Show it to me. Show it to me.
Dakota raises her left hand up (still clutching phone with her right) to show Bill her wedding ring.
Dakota:
No.
Bill sticks Dakota's hand with the first syringe, she continues to put her hand up in pain.
Bill:
Now, that's just to take the sting off… Show it to me.
Dakota: (crying)
No, please.
With the same syringe, Bill sticks Dakota's right hand three times while saying “give-it-to-me”.
Bill:
Now let's see how fast your friends work.
Knowing the effects of her own needles, she begins losing control of her hands (where Bill stuck her), she turns up her right hand to prevent the phone from falling, meanwhile whimpering in fear. Her phone slides out of her hand and into Bill's.
Bill:
That's pretty fast.
Bill puts both phones side by side to correlate the messages. He removes them from his view, allowing the camera to see Dakota.
Bill:
Oh, what do I know, my love? Exactly. That you're a cheating… Lying… Sack.
Dakota:
I didn't want to hurt you.
Bill: (whispering)
But you did.
Instead of grabbing the second syringe from Dakota's pocket, Bill grabs the third one (her red headed friend).
Dakota:
Bill… You're insane… And I was afraid… Of what you might to do me, to our son. I'm the mother of your son.
Bill: (spits the cap of the syringe at her and moves her hand down)
And after this one… I'll never see you again.
Bill raises up the syringe like a knife, the music becomes louder, the camera zooms in on each of their faces and the entire scene tenses up. Just before action gets made, they're interrupted.
Paramedic:
Doc.
Bill:
What?
Paramedic:
You gotta see this…
Bill:
I'll be right there.
Bill quickly moves Dakota into a closet and locks the door. We move to a separate room, where Bill is with the two paramedics from earlier.
Bill:
Where the hell are the bodies?
Paramedic:
That's what we wanted to show you. They're gone.
Bill:
They didn't just get up and walk out, did they?
Paramedic: (motioning to the ground with is hand)
Mmm-hmm.
A trail of blood can be seen from the gurney's through the hall.
