I write poetry for you
I travel, travel for you
You know I'd turn the insides out for you
My tongue can be so cruel
Alcohol induced fool
Please understand that everything's for you
But when I'm gone
Will you think of me as your first love
Or a lover that led you astray?
I take pains to see you smile
There is beauty in a while
But a while can break and leave me trapped like now
Where I wonder what you fear
I fear you may wonder
And I miss you with three esses ev'ry day
But when I'm gone
Will you look at my photograph
Like I look at yours to get drunk?
I think my poetry's running thin
