the book i read is about this cuban fisherman. they refer to him as the old man. the old man and a friend would always try to go fishing. the thing is that when they would go fishing they would never catch any fish or anything. and the young boy would always help the old man out when he would come back to shore. he would help him carry his tools and all the stuff he uses to fish.
