Took a walk today, out in the street
On the chance that I might meet, with the sun for a while
And I can smile at the pretty girls who pa** me by
Couldn't find the sun
Morning haze had come
And the rain had just begun
As I picked up the ball
That had fallen in the road
From the alleyway
Wrong person's right
A foreman has to fight
Through a neon jungle night
But I know in my heart
That i can do my part to put an end to it
And it's sad that better times aren't coming
But take the time to look and you'll agree
Better things aren't worth ..... up here in our city
Ten children live next door
A family waiting for
A welfare cheque once more it can feed them for a week
But god bless it all the ..... who steal for the rest of it
And it's sad that better times aren't coming
But take the time to look and you'll agree
No more trees to shade all the things that man have made in our city
The monetary gain
We play it quiet insane
Where do we put the blame
On luxury pollution buys
Or cars and clothes and how we lie
We're all to blame
