On a ledge of something real
My head expands, this minute bronzed
And I'm so spent, I shouldn't mind
If I do fall through, I know I've been advised
Surrounded by impermanence
It's made me steal from myself
All we are bled into this
Our fractured art oh so obvious
As you learn your work is never done
And as you seek it's rarely for the truth
Because we are so casual,
Our grasp is soft on the mistakes we make
All we see out in front of us
This fractured art oh so obvious
All we own or seek to possess
Outweighs us now like these lives we spend
