The Great Invite
Here's some insight
There's a Master who invites, in spite
Of the fact that we have no manners
We wave hateful banners and
We only care about reppin' manors
So many stray
Ignore the invite and many say
I didn't want an invite anyway
But you're being invited
To come and get all that you will ever need
It's not like they don't see the writing on the wall
They just never read!
They've been deceived
Traded books for TV's and a fantasy
But the reality is
You'll never get an invite better than this
Don't matter who you are, what you're into
Or where you're from
There's no discrimination
If you only knew what had to happen
For you to even get an invitation
I'm sure you would at least want some more information
You got Royal mail
Because Somebody bled
One of the reasons why all His workers
Are covered in red
And we deliver the message wrong sometimes
So many don't even know that they're invited
So I can understand why so many are not excited
But there's a great invitation
With your name on the guest-list
But you're confused about
Which road to take, which exit
You're stuck in some dead ends
But with some rhymes from
Experiences from the street life
We about to drop you some GEMS
And how you can get there so
Come
Take a peek
Better yet, let me get you a chair
Take a seat
Because you accepting this invitation
Means an angelic celebration
There was a high price to pay for you to
Get invited into the door
The Inviter paid with His own Son's blood
And that's the only thing He's ever paid for
His grace is truly amazing
Welcome to the Great Invitation
