In a small room in Tel Aviv lies a little boy
He's wide awake though he tries to fall asleep
He says: "Abba, the shadows look like monsters.
I think I hear the sirens once again
His father would comfort him and say
"Hush my child, do not be afraid
Don't be afraid, G-d is on our side
Through the darkness till the morning light
Son don't be afraid 'cause the the above
Loves you like a father loves his son"
Two O'clock in the morning
Sirens wailing in the night
A family in a sealed room alone
Holding hands tenderly with the ones they love
As the missiles weave their deadly path in the night above
"Son don't be afraid, G-d is on our side
He can do anything, any time
Son don't be afraid 'cause the one above
Loves you like a father loves his son"
Digging through the rubble of what used to be a home
No chances of survivors they say
"Wait- is that a voice? I hear a child crying
A family surviving. I hear the father say:
'Son don't be afraid, G-d is on our side
Through the darkness, past the morning light
Son don't be afraid 'cause the one above
Loves you like a father loves his son'"
