On my way this morning I saw rain clouds floating by,
Lightning flashing up above white flowers in the sky.
You were gone and time moved on the feeling went away
Beating hearts that fell apart, they're drowning in the rain.
My swarming buzzing mind was filled with things that I had done.
I'd replace them all today with pictures of the sun,
Things go crawling underground,
Dig down deep without a sound,
Drag me along, turn me on,
Hide me in the dawn.
Over time I came awake, I opened up my eyes,
Your memories slowly slipped away off somewhere to the side,
Fading like white flowers in the sky.
