Powered Traps Chromosphere After entering the Kepler System and going up the hill, you can either pa** through the Alligator trap on the right or take the left side. Going all the way to the back, this trap is easily seen. It's red and has a giant "Chromosphere" sign attached. Right in front of it is the activation station. At this trap, you can stand just in front of it while any zombies that run near will be s**ed up overhead into the trap. Disco Ball In the arcade, you'll notice a large, colorful dance floor right in the middle. There are two activation stations on each side of the room. As you activate this trap, the dance floor will fully light up, music will play, and all zombies will run to the floor so they don't miss a chance to get their groove on! Once the song ends, lasers will shoot out of the disco ball, k**ing all zombies in their paths. Escape Velocity Just to the left after entering Journey Into Space, you'll notice a large spinning ride. On the other side will be the activation station. Once started, the ride will start spinning up and any zombies that run near it will be smashed. Facing the activator, turn left and go along the wall until you're close enough to the trap to not be hit. From this spot, any zombies coming after you will run near the ride and be k**ed. Star Mission This trap is the large rocket, located at the back of Journey Into Space near the Tuff 'Nuff perk. You can activate it by either entrance into the trap's area. The rocket starts up its thrusters, k**ing any zombies that run into the area. The trap activates quickly, so if you're wanting to run to the other side, get a move on. Like the Steel Dragon, you'll need to watch for zombies on the side that you're standing on as they won't be attracted to the trap itself. Steel Dragon As you enter Polar Peak from the far end of The Cosmic Way, head through the tunnel to the top. Once there, turn left and the activation station for this trap is on the wall to the right of the entrance to the gift shop.
Straight across will be the trap itself. This trap emits an enormous laser beam. While it will k** any zombies on the opposite side coming for you, you'll need to watch your own surroundings to make sure none sneak up. Automatic Traps Space Croc Once you enter the Kepler System and go up the hill, to the right, you'll notice the giant crocodile head. Running through it, you'll hear a click and then have just a few seconds to run out before the mouth chomps down. When it closes, any zombies inside will be k**ed and any players inside will be downed. Bumper Cars Just through the hallway after the Star Mission, you'll run into the bumper cars. Once the powers on, the cars will randomly turn on and cross the room. Like the Alligator, these will k** any zombies they hit, but also will down players if they are in the way. Water Jets On the Kepler System side of the map, near a Polar Peak entrance, will be Spaceship Splash. This trap is easily noticeable by the six lit-up circles on the ground. The Bang Bangs perk is also located here. Randomly, each circle with shoot a blast of water into the air. You can safely be propelled by the water, but any zombies will be k**ed.
