I walk along the garden path
Where flowers bloomed in spring
Where once we walked hand in hand
Listening to Robins sing
The velvet gra** beneath our feet
Glistened in morning dew
The path led to the arbor
Where beautiful roses grew
This garden was your pa**ion
Your refuge where you'd hide
And when each flower bloomed
Your face would beam with pride
It's winter now, and you are gone
The garden in disrepair
The weeds have overtaken it
You're no longer there
The once proud trees have shed their leaves
The wind swirling them around
I thought I heard a plaintive sigh
As they came drifting to the ground
Snowflakes are softly falling
The moonlight reflects their glow
Sparkling like crystal gems
Blanketing your grave below
Forlorn, I kneel and say a prayer
As I tearfully send my love
Rest in peace, my darling
In God's garden in Heaven above
